These are labeled as a Large, but would fit a size 5 woman because it has a drawstring. These pants are for the purpose of acting as an outer shell only. More layers underneath is definitely required; sweatpants and leggings would w
ork well because these babies will protect your cotton underlayers from getting soaked. 100% Nylon.

Items here are meant to provide protection from the elements; they are water resistant not water proof. This means that you should not be getting wet with normal snow usage, but that you cannot stay perfectly dry if it is raining excessively or if you spill a liquid on yourself. These pants are also meant to provide protection from wind and cold. However, on especially cold days or at very high altitudes, several layers will be required to keep your core temperature at an ideal level. Wear leggings or sweatpants underneath of the pants to ensure that you will not be cold.
