Winter Co-Op:
For the first time this winter, the Ski and Snowboard Club will be the hub for a tri-co informal trip co-op! If you want to head up to the mountains to ski or snowboard for a day, post a message on the Co-Op board with details about when/where you plan to go. Leave your email so people can contact you. Also, if you are looking to go to the mountains, but don’t have a car, leave a message and someone may bring you aboard. General regulations for this is that each rider will give the driver $5 for gas. So, if you want to save on gas and meet some new friends who share the same interest in winter sports, take part in this opportunity.
I am heading in to Philly on Monday for the 8pm Forum Video Premier — anyone who wants to carpool can email me.

Hey, I’ve got a question:
What’s the best place to go for a snowboarding day trip near school (I go to Swat)?
I’m looking to head up on a Sunday right after school starts and I don’t want to have to drive too too far (under a couple hours each way).
Spring Mountain and Bear Creek look like they’re the closest, are they any good (compared to what I’m used to in, say southern VT and NH)?
